Jaden Timoun Pre-School is a Haitian Creole Language Immersion Program for children ages 2 to 5. In this language immersion program children will use their comprehension and critical thinking skills to make connections while having fun learning Haitian Creole. Children will have hands-on concrete experiences in song, movement, art, and other activities with a parent/caregiver. The focus will be on creating a space of nurturing and learning centered around Haitian culture and identity. Parents & Caregivers will also be provided with tools to help engage with language learning outside of the classroom.

Activities will take place primarily in Haitian Creole in order to provide an authentic and immersive space.

Class sessions will be taught by Jaden Timoun Co-Founders Darnelle Champagne and Wynnie Lamour.

Jaden Timoun Pre-School will take place in person on the following Saturday mornings 10:30 am – 11:30 am in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn (exact location will be provided after registration) :

September 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th

October 5th, 19th, 26th

November 2nd

Cost is per child, per session.
